Geriatric & Aging Massage Workshop

Specific care for the elders, geriatric massage is designed to
assist the aging population. You will learn how to work with those in their fragile state with
possible dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other medical conditions. Although the massage is not
different from regular Swedish massage, there are some modifications to be made depending
on the age and health condition of the client. A massage from thirty minutes to sixty minutes
can provide the client with relaxation, increase circulation, and enhance immune system and
aid in joint health.
